Aquarium
glitter shaker
Make a cool aquarium filled with colourful foam fish from
your H2 4 Kids drinks bottle. Fill your bottle with
glitter and water, then shake for a funky swirling
effect. Add a colourful Angel fish to your aquarium,
make a splendid sea horse or design your own colourful
fish and sea life.
You
will need:
H2 4 Kids empty plastic bottle and lid
Stiff clear plastic
Coloured fun foam
Double sided sticky tape
Scissors
Pencil
Felt tip pen
Teaspoon
Aquarium
patterns

1 -
Print out the Aquarium
patterns from
this web page, cut out all the pattern pieces and draw
around them onto the colour of foam you would like
to use. Use a felt tip pen to draw around the bottle
inner pattern onto a piece of stiff packing plastic
such as the lid from a dip selection pack.

2 -
Place strips of double sided tape onto the back of
all of your drawn pattern pieces. Use scissors to cut
out all of the pieces that you need. Using a pencil,
draw a line on the little fish and eyes on all your
creatures.

3 -
Stick one sand bank piece on the front of the bottle
inner piece, and the other on the back. Stick the small
seaweed strand on the front and the large one on the
back. Stick the large Angel fish on the front of the
plastic inner and stick a few small fish on the front
and some more on the back.

4 -
Roll up the decorated clear plastic inner and push
it carefully into your bottle. Use a pencil to make
sure it is in the centre of the bottle.

5 -
Decorate the outside of the bottle by sticking the
long sand bank piece all around the base, stick some
more seaweed and small fish to the bottle sides. Also
cover the lid with two strips of fun foam.

6 -
Cut some tiny squares of coloured sweet papers and
put them in the bottle. Add a teaspoon of glitter to
the bottle too.

7 -
Fill your bottle with tap water and screw the lid back
on tightly. Shake your bottle to see the glitter swirl
around your funky fish aquarium.

Warning
Do not drink the water from the bottle once the foam fish and glitter are in
place. Do not place real fish in the bottle.
